"Oh, dear sweet thing. Won't you let me steal you away again?"

You are a pariah. Paying penance for a failure that resulted in bloodshed and betrayal. Of course, it isn't just your failure that marks you, but the way you failed.

How utterly.

How intimately.

And to the monster you were meant to hunt and kill, no less.

The Rush is a short and thoroughly self-indulgent t4t fantasy about a gay vampire, an even gayer hunter, and the things they want to do to one another.

18+ for strong language and explicit sexual content.

Monstrous! The atmosphere so thick, throbbing, and hungry >:3

Beautiful art, and the writing is so lovely and intimate... can't blame her for failing when I'd have failed too! Really enjoyed this! <3

Yeaaah, when facing down big baddies with fangs, sometimes failure really is the only option... (╥‸╥)

Glad you enjoyed it!

"Is that //all// you're going to do?" HEEEELLL YEAH this game rules

What a cool take on lesbian vampires. The way it explores privilege and guilt in a few words is really evocative. I dig it.

Lesbian vampires my kryptonite

I enjoyed this and it reminded me of being a young lesbian and seeing Queen of the Damned for the first time and not knowing anything in the world. The religious over tones are really good and reminds me of when your sins are revealed to a group of older women in church. The desire to achieve absolution only to fail to complete what is right in the eyes of those who are 'more faithful' is captured well.

Really delightful to read something from you again!!

Hey, glad you enjoyed it. I've been obsessing over these characters for a minute now; so nice to share with somebody who digs the vibe.

And yes, disapproving church aunties were //definitely// in the mix, as far as inspo for the Sisters.

Damn. In the words of 2003-era Nicole Richie: that's hot

Between the artwork and the story, I was left wanting to see more of them!
